The FLEETWATCH® Fluid Management System
is made up of many individual components each performing a unique task that is important to the rest of the system. This section begins with a brief explanation of each part in the Fluid Management System.

SYSTEMController
The System Controller provides service data verification and transaction storage. The SYSTEMController is flexible and expandable, allowing it to act as a collector/concentrator for extensive data from tank monitoring systems and vehicle on-board monitoring systems. Return to System Diagram.

Model 3000R Remote Island Head
The RIH 3000R controls and monitors valves, pulsers, FR55 units, and vehicle detector to automatically count and compile complete servicing records. The RIH 3000 also has optional stand-alone capability. Return to System Diagram.

Model JX55 J1708 Data Logger
The FLEETWATCH Model JX55 Data Recorder connects to an existing SAE J1708 connector on a vehicle. Mileage, Engine Hours, Idle Hours and more can be collected and reported on demand to a wayside receiver station (FR55). The vehicle engine and transmission must have electronics necessary to output the requested information through the J1708 connector. The JX55 unit is programmed with the vehicle number.
If your vehicles do not have an existing J1708 connector, the following options are also available for automatic capture of Vehicle ID, Mileage, Engine Hours and Idle Hours:

Model ST55 Speedometer Tap Module
The ST55 connects to the vehicle speedometer to record mileage, engine hours and idle hours and transmit them to the FR55.

Model GP55 GPS Mileage Module
The GP55 records mileage, engine hours and idle hours and transmits them to the FR55 mounted in the service lane.

Model FR55 Fixed Mount Receiver
The Model FR55 Fixed Mount Receiver (FR55) is a small module designed to capture vehicle id, mileage and other j1708 data from Model JX55 J1708 Data Loggers via radio frequency transmission. The FR55 is mounted in the service lane and is connected to the RIH3000. The FR55’s only job is to capture vehicle information from the Model JX55, ST55 or GP55 and pass it along to the RIH3000. Model MR55 Mobile Receiver
The Model MR55 Mobile Receiver is a portable hand-held device used as an optional means to transfer, display, and store vehicle number and mileage from Model JX55/ST55/GP55 Data Loggers. The MR55 may also be used to program vehicle information into the 55 series data loggers with a separate PC and included programming software. Return to System Diagram.

Tank Level Monitor
The Tank Level Monitor interfaces are available to Veeder Root, Gilbarco, and other tank monitoring systems. These allow the FLEETWATCH System to request and record tank level data from an existing Tank Level Monitor. This data may then be used to reconcile the tank data with the service data collected by the FLEETWATCH System. Return to System Diagram.

Computer Network
The FLEETWATCH system can transfer data across a host computer network to synchronize data between multiple facilities, or to run service activity and diagnostic reports from a remote computer located anywhere on the host network.. Return to System Diagram.
